79 Cartier-Bresson

For event La Nouvelle Adresse by Cnap, with Alice, Aida, Niki, Ryan and myself. Thank you to Gauchoir and Eve Aboulkheir for allowing us to do a transition between their sets.

Collective performance with the inhabitants of squat 79 Cartier-Bresson on the newly acquired premises of Cnap (Centre National des Arts Plastiques), where i also lived. As curator of festival Live =, I was doing a part of the program for the Cnap's inaugural week-end. Using a special technique, we walked across the audience with long sticks found on site, bouncing them continuously against the floor, making rhythmic sequences, clicks and echoes from within the audience. It enacted a bridge between the institution and the DIY space, as well as between the audience and the performers.
